PMA was founded in 1988 and is a proprietorship concern. Its main office is in Karachi and branch offices in Lahore and Islamabad. Major products of the company are educational books ranging from Pre-Primary classes to the A-levels.

PMA’s production department develops books under the banner of Sunrise Publications, its subsidiary company, consequently its indigenous creations and adaptations are promoted by PMA in the country.
